We are excited to announce the release of the Training of Trainers (ToT) 2025 Report, highlighting the impact of our recent educator empowerment program in Mayuge District.
On 21st June 2025, we brought together 14 dedicated teachers from both primary and secondary schools, representing rural, semi-urban, and government-aided schools (both Primary and Secondary), to equip them with the skills, tools, and confidence to implement our core programs: Student Empowerment, Sustainability Education, Play4Change, and E-Shule.
Key Highlights from the Report
- 85% of participants are now ready to adopt structured curricula to teach green education and sustainability in their schools.
- Confidence levels in teaching sustainability and green education rose from 50% to 86% after the training.
- Teachers embraced a shift in entrepreneurship education from rote memorization to practical skill-building, such as savings, communication, and starting small businesses.
- The ToT fostered a network of educator change agents who will deliver these programs in 14 schools, with monthly supervision and continuous mentorship.
- Participants strongly supported the structured curriculum for its relevance, logical flow, and inclusion of current environmental issues.

Why This Matters
We believe that empowered teachers lead to empowered students, and empowered students lead to transformed communities. By integrating green education, leadership, entrepreneurship, and life skills into everyday learning, we are shaping a generation that understands the challenges of today and is equipped to create solutions for tomorrow.

Next Steps
From July 1st, 2025, trained teachers began implementing the programs in their respective schools, supported by our team of field volunteers through supervision and technical support during the sessions. This is just the beginning of what we believe will be a long-term transformation in Mayuge’s education landscape.
